The Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team represents the University of Colorado and competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I.
Conferences
Colorado has played in the Big 8 and the Big 12 conferences. The Buffaloes joined the Big 12 in 1997 when the Big 8 merged with several former members of the defunct Southwest Conference.
Coaches
Colorado's head women's basketball coach is Linda Lappe, who is entering her first season at Colorado. Lappe hired assistant coaches Jennie Baranczyk, Johnna Pointer, and Jonas Chatterton.[1]
